Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction This policy governs the booking of online medical appointments with Dr Johnathan Chan. By completing an appointment booking, patients confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below. 2. Booking an Appointment • Appointments with Dr Johnathan Chan may be booked online through the official booking portal. • Patients must provide accurate personal and medical information at the time of booking. • Appointment slots are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. • A confirmation email will be sent to the patient’s registered email address following successful booking and payment. 3. Payment • Full payment is required at the time of booking. • All payments must be made online via the accepted payment methods available on the booking portal. • Consultation fees are displayed clearly prior to checkout. Please review the fee before completing your booking. 4. Cancellations & Refunds • Cancellations and rescheduling of appointments can only be arranged by contacting the Practice Manager directly via email or phone. • To be eligible for a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 business hours before the scheduled appointment time. • For the purposes of this policy, business hours exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. These days are not counted when calculating the 48-hour notice period. • Cancellations made with less than 48 business hours’ notice will not be eligible for a refund. No exceptions will be made to this policy. • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. 5. Late Arrival & Non-Attendance • Patients who fail to attend their appointment without prior notice (“no-shows”) will not be entitled to a refund. • Dr Chan reserves the right to end or decline appointments for patients who arrive significantly late, at his professional discretion. 6. Changes to This Policy Dr Johnathan Chan reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on the booking portal. Continued use of the booking service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
